LSVT LOUD

LSVT BIG

Yes. Individuals who have fulfilled the requirements and regulations in their country to be a speech, physical, or occupational therapist are eligible to take the Online LSVT LOUD or LSVT BIG Training and Certification course. The course is only offered in English, thus for optimal learning, it is recommended that individuals taking the online course have a strong grasp of the English language.

No. The Online LSVT BIG or LSVT LOUD Training and Certification Courses are licensed for individual clinician use. Each clinician must register, complete the course, and testing individually to earn their LSVT BIG or LSVT LOUD certification. We do offer group discounts when five or more individuals register together!

Easy! You will be provided with an email address and phone numbers after registering for the course to contact us during normal business hours and we can put you in touch with our LSVT faculty. Lastly, the Online LSVT LOUD and LSVT BIG Training and Certification Courses contain numerous videos, each allowing you to view treatment segments and practice the exercises and techniques as many times as you need to gain confidence in your skills.

You will have 60 days to complete any of our online courses from the date of purchase.  

Course extensions are available for purchase in 30-day blocks of time. To purchase an extension, please contact us.

The The Online LSVT BIG Training and Certification Course takes on average 14.5 hours to complete. This includes 13 hours of pre-recorded content and 1.5 hours (average) to complete the pre-assessment, knowledge review questions, exam and other non-timed elements

The Online LSVT LOUD Training and Certification Course is 12 hours long in recorded duration, however, it can take up to 14 hours to complete depending upon how much time is spent on knowledge review questions, practice activities, reviewing videos, and the exam.

Once you register for a course, you will receive an email on how to access your course. The online courses are streamed and are not downloaded to a local device. You will need to be connected to the internet with a high-speed internet connection to view the course. You will have access 24/7 to online courses for 60 days beginning on the day you purchase.

For the best viewing and learning use a computer, iPad or tablet. We recommend that you do NOT use mobile phones. They can cause difficulties viewing the course, connecting to the virtual live sessions (if applicable to you) and do not provide an optimal learning experience.

Yes, as long as you follow the Minimum System Requirements in the above question.

Please note, some of the courses also require you to practice either LSVT LOUD or LSVT BIG exercises. This requires you to have a stable viewing platform and private location to do the voice or movement exercises.

For the Online Training and Certification Courses, a course binder is available for an additional fee of $25. You may also download the course materials from your course account, so you do not have to wait for the binder to begin the course.

For other online courses (e.g., LSVT Renewal, BIG for LIFE, Pediatrics), the shipping of printed materials varies. Check with the course descriptions for complete information.

Yes. The virtual live, in person and online courses are parallel in content, and you will receive the same certification and most importantly, competence whether you take the course virtually, online or in person.

Everything that is demonstrated in the live course has been recorded for the online course so you don’t miss a beat. Practice time in the online course follows video demonstrations which you can repeat as often as needed.

This is usually due to a weak or unstable internet connection or a brief (often undetectable) internet interruption. Also, some institution connections automatically time-out after a certain amount of time.

If the internet connection is interrupted this may cause difficulties with progressing successfully through the course. We recommend:

• Closing out of other programs and pausing syncing on file-sharing programs
• Ensuring that you have a strong internet connection
• Avoiding public wi-fi locations that may have heavy usage from other users

These issues could be due to a weak or unstable internet connection. Please make sure you are on a stable Wi-Fi network with high-speed internet connectivity. Please also see the Minimum System Requirements question.

The exams in the Online LSVT LOUD and LSVT BIG Training and Certification Courses are 40 to 50 questions. The average time to complete is 15-20 minutes, but you can take as long as you need.

The exams for the LSVT LOUD and LSVT BIG Renewal Courses are 10 questions. Again, you can take as long as you need to complete.

The exam for the BIG for LIFE course is 15 questions and you can take as long as you need to complete it.

Yes. You will be provided with instructions on how to retake the exam if you do not pass. Exam retakes are also completed online.

Yes. For the Online LSVT LOUD and LSVT BIG Training and Certification Courses, we offer discounts for groups of five or more professionals registering together.  The discount is for $50 off each professional registration. Students groups of five or more qualify for a $30 discount per student when they register together.

Group discounts are not available for other online LSVT courses (e.g., LSVT Certification renewal courses, BIG for LIFE).
