The Virtual Live LSVT LOUD for KIDS Training and Certification Course is a mix of online pre-recorded learning and virtual live interactive learning designed to train speech-language pathology professionals and students in a voice/speech treatment for children with motor speech disorders, with a focus on cerebral palsy and Down syndrome. Application to other childhood voice/speech disorders will be discussed.

The fundamental treatment principles and rationale, key treatment elements, efficacy data supporting treatment outcomes, details of treatment exercises, and practical delivery and documentation considerations will be covered.

Teaching techniques include pre-recorded lecture, video demonstrations, virtual live instructor led training, virtual live interactive sessions, knowledge review questions and an online exam.

Audience: Speech-Language Pathologists, Speech-Language Pathologist Assistants, and students enrolled in those programs. *LSVT LOUD treatment provided by LSVT Certified SLPAs or students must be delivered under the direction of a LSVT LOUD SLP.

 Steps to Certification

• Read and accept the LSVT Clinician Practice Agreement, which will be emailed to you upon registration.
• Complete the entire LSVT LOUD Training and Certification Course.
• Complete the 50 multiple choice question online LSVT LOUD Certification Exam with an 84% score required to pass.  Retakes of the exam are available at no additional cost.
