Short description of what you do:
I am the Center Manager for Banner Physical Therapy in partnership with Select Medical. I manage a large multi-disciplinary outpatient clinic in Arizona. I have worked for Banner for over 20 years in various Physical Therapy roles. I work with my company’s Education division helping to develop course content for Neurology and in preparation for a Neurologic Physical Therapy Residency. I host the Parkinson’s Special Interest group for Select Medical, a monthly journal club to help therapists provide the best evidenced based care to our Parkinson’s patients. I am also the Vestibular and Concussion Champion for the Arizona market for Select Medical.
My love is treating patients with neurologic impairments especially Parkinson’s disease and other Movement Disorders.
How long have you been with LSVT Global?
I was certified in LSVT BIG in 2010. I have been faculty with LSVT Global since 2011 and I am honored and blessed to be a part fo this amazing organization.
What is your favorite part of the job/what do you enjoy most?
I truly love making a difference in the lives of my patients. I have been a Physical Therapist for a long time and I love what I do and I cannot imagine doing anything else. When I can help my patients improve their function or return them to something that they love to do, that is an amazing reward for me. I have the best patients and co-workers that I learn from and enjoy being with each day!
Tell us a little about yourself!
I have been married for 38 years, I have 2 wonderful children and 3 dogs that keep me busy. I have been in Arizona since we got married but I am originally from New York. I love to exercise in my spare time and I love doing genealogy. My family means everything to me and I love traveling with them, seeing new places and meeting long lost relatives.

My favorie movie is: “It’s a Wonderful Life” with Jimmy Stewart; and for me it really is a wonderful life!
Kathy joined LSVT Global as an LSVT BIG faculty at a critical time for our growth of the training program. She brought competence, insight, and her vast clinical knowledge to the table – enhancing our LSVT BIG training course. Kathy is deeply caring and dedicated to serving people with Parkinson’s and her peers. She has a quiet confidence and is incredibly kind. Our entire team has been enhanced by Kathy’s contributions.
