Dr. McFarland leads business development and marketing for LSVT Global. He also manages regulatory affairs and is the Company’s representative for legal affairs. Dr. McFarland helped bring to market the FDA-cleared LSVT Companion medical device, coordinated the building and release of the LSVT LOUD app, and is currently directing research on the application of LSVT treatment protocols to swallowing disorders. He received his doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology and Neuroscience from Purdue University, and is Professor in the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Montréal, and Adjunct Professor at McGill University. He is an ASHA Fellow and received a lifetime achievement award for his contributions to speech-language pathology in the province of Québec. Dr. McFarland hails originally from Long Beach, California and lives in Montréal, Québec, Canada.
