This course is designed to train physical and occupational therapy professionals and students in the evidence-based, amplitude-focused LSVT BIG treatment.

• Master the LSVT BIG exercises and treatment methods through instructor-led practice sessions.
• Learn how to tailor LSVT BIG to successfully improve movement, mobility, and ADL function in people with a wide range of abilities and goals.
• Develop a practical lifelong model of care for your patients with chronic conditions.
• Determine how to apply LSVT BIG to other disorders when indicated.
• Learn how to use the LSVT programs to foster patient-centered, interdisciplinary care among allied health providers, the medical team, and community partners.
• Receive helpful implementation tips enabling you to offer LSVT BIG in any practice setting.

Teaching techniques include pre-recorded and virtual live lectures, nearly 100 video demonstrations, instructor-led exercise practice, case study presentations, and question and answer time.

Course Length:  15 hours (5 hours of online asynchronous learning + 10 hours of virtual live interactive learning)

Audience: Physical and Occupational Therapists, Physical and Occupational Therapy Assistants, and students enrolled in those programs. *LSVT BIG treatment provided by LSVT Certified PTAs, COTAs or students must be delivered under the direction of LSVT BIG Certified PTs or OTs, respectively.
