Simple Strategies to Help you Transfer LSVT Improvements to your Daily Life

The "heart of success" for LSVT BIG and LSVT LOUD depends on clients re-calibrating their perceptions of normal loudness and movement.  Re-calibration facilitates carryover of the louder voice and bigger movements into daily living. The presentation will include an explanation of three key deficits in Parkinson’s disease that make calibration challenging followed by a description of the four areas of calibration that are integrated into LSVT BIG and LSVT LOUD to help you continue using improved movements and loudness in everyday life.  Intended Audience: Individuals with Parkinson’s disease and their family members and caregivers
